This is a poem about memories shared between two very close friends. to my hfs friends
Let the Tide come upon the shore and wash me away to the sun,
Let the heavens above open up and take me to eternal bliss.
Let the sands of time stand still so that we won’t grow up,
So that we’ll be side by side for a long time,
Helping and being there for each other.
Let this not be the final good bye,
The final joke told between friends,
The final heart to heart had.

Let us not forget the fun we had,
The things we did,
Let the tide come upon the shore and wash me away into the sun,
Where forever isn’t long enough, and things never change,
And where every moment spent with those we love,
Lasts a life time, and re-plays over and over again.
Where memories never fade, and we are never forgotten.
Where all the tearful good-byes mean so much more,
And everything is as perfect as the day we became friends,
Where hardly a tear is shed and hardly a heart broken.
