Original Title: Quandary of Sexuality and the Average Goddess; not actually religious.
I believe that all women are goddesses.

This is not to slight those men out there who, in the process of reading may recognize the insinuation of an insult, it is merely a statement. Make no mistake, I do recognize the appeal of the brimming virility of the average male, but I cannot help but be a sister and a worshiper. Goddesses are meant to be loved, respected and admired, and as a responsible world citizen, I am quite willing to take on the task that so many fail to take up.

You see, it's easy enough to admire the dark-eyed temptress sauntering down the street, to worship the hair, the mouth the thighs. It's easy enough then to fall to your knees, but what of the bespectacled, the spotted, the plus size jeans? Oh, my lost, lonely ones; Oh, my shattered idols; let me worship the limbs, the brain, the soul, let me raise you up, let me love- love- isn't that all we really want?

(Give me the woman with a smile like stars.)

(Give me the man with a kiss like a flame.)

(Give me a heartbeat, constant as the sun.)

(Give me no labels, no dirty scrawls on bathroom walls; freak, fool, feminist, worse, I am all and none.)

All women are goddesses and therefore meant to be worshiped. Make no mistake, this is no lusty, Sapphic confession, these are only my truths, my beliefs. All women are goddesses, and I am human; I cannot help but bend at the knees.
