It's easy to become lost in the drink, and lost in life.
The Drink


Eyes chased with spirits
Brave behind the smiles
Savoring each desire
As life brings the trials

Taste found a small laugh
Brought forth by merry lies
Weakening begins within
Breaking family ties

A home is forgotten
A life is put on hold
Time begins to run away
A new day begins to unfold

Whether real or imaginary
Whatever troubles there may be
The ones whom are affected
Are the ones that really see
