view on day-to-day male and female interactions
It was past the time of forgiveness,
While lost among thoughts of motive and truth,
That I concluded to myself
The deception that was you.
Brought amongst the power of society,
The lies you had to tell,
Like Adam's admittance to knowledge
Lost to me, you found Hell.
Did you, in your will, find peace?
Deceit brought to you in hopes of soulless lust
To take the apple that tempted,
The blush that broke all trust.
Keep that simple smile on your face
And look at me with open eyes,
Trust your own foolish beliefs no longer
Because a woman, too, knows how to lie.
