Stop thinking you know me
Don't have the arrogance
to think you know me.
Or can play me with your game.
You think I WANT to be here?
I come here out of shame.

Don't tell me I don't know
about life, or being touched;
believe me,
I know more than you;
but here's the thing; i know too much.

Don't mock me with your coolness
and some songs I never knew;
I find my own truth in music;
I have my own songs too.

Don't tell me I have no God;
Your God was fierce and cruel;
Your God built the wall
that my God tries get me through.

Don't attack my soul.
You don't know where it lies.
You don't know how much it gave.
You don't know why its tired.

DON'T tell me I'm fucked up;
I already know that to be true.
Instead, you should be asking
why I hurt myself with you.

Really, people including myself take life way too seriously sometimes. I'm going to the pictures.
