I think the title speaks for itself...
At dawn, the morning begins to rise,
The Sun Fairy stretches and opens her eyes.

She wonders what the hours will hold,
As she dons her robe of red, yellow and gold.

Welcoming the coming heat of the day,
As her bold, shiny wings feel the warmth of each ray.

The dawn turns to day; the day fades to night,
The Moon Fairy sleepily prepares for her flight.

She dons a robe of white, purple and green,
Her delicate wings hold a luminous sheen.

The night starts to rise as the day dwindles down,
Spying moonbeams the Sun Fairy floats to the ground.

Behind her, a movement, a fluttery-flitter,
The Moon Fairy emerges through a silvery glitter.

They live for this moment; this hour each day,
To be here, together, to romp and to play.

The rain scatters down, from out of the skies,
Through lightning, they giggle, protecting their eyes.

They zig and they zag; they zag and they zig,
On the remains of a rainbow, each dances a jig.

The night has set in; the day is now gone,
The Sun Fairy takes leave; she'll be back at dawn.
