Judge for yourself.
Concealed Love

Is it not completely obvious,
How it’s not me making all the fuss.
Can’t they see it’s not me,
Who’s completely smitten with she.
I would have thought they could,
But obviously they can't do what they should.
Instead they think me backing off,
When I should be embracing all that’s soft.
They side with the one,
Who wants loving things done.
They leave me alone,
Thinking I’m hiding what should be shown.
But I can't find the words to tell,
How I’d love to touch and smell.
I can't find the words to say,
How I need her every day.
I love her with my heart so much,
But still I back off from that affectionate touch.
Secretly I know that they’re right,
I don’t want to ignore the feelings I fight.
I want to feel the caress of her lips,
And stroke the soft curves of her warm golden hips.
I need her firm embrace,
To never let go just in case.
I know if these feelings persist,
I may lose forever the soft lips I once kissed.
This is why I know,
If I don’t give in love may go.
Then I shall live forever in deep regret,
Of the one thing I loved and let slip through the net.
I can't carry on ignoring these feelings,
Soon I’ll let flow those hot, burning things.
They’ll burst free of the bars,
Blow the tops off their jars.
Soon they’ll surround,
The one who’s finally found.
And then everyone will at last see,
That in time all love must be set free.
