Judge for yourself.
Back Of The Mind

So close, almost feel the heat that pours,
From that open room, but you can’t bring yourself to open the doors.
So near yet so far.
Signals sent, that open the floodgates of temptation,
But something snags, delaying that vacation.
What is it that grabs?
So simple it would be to dive in deep,
So easy as well to be able to keep.
Why then remain alone?
Surrounded by the urge of those so unbelievably keen,
And something ignores, they’re never truly seen.
Blind with sight.
Pressure forms from frustrating sound,
Slowly within it common sense is drowned.
Mistakes are made.
Never really happy from the start,
Realisation builds forcing you to part.
From pain truths are learnt.
Thankfully no one appears really hurt,
Real friends form from out of the dirt.
Find out who cares.
Things seem returned to the same innocent things,
But in the back of the mind, still doubtfulness brings.
What still remains and why?
