a remarkable lack of subtlety. Go on, guess, I dare you.
How can I say sorry
If you can't see or hear?
For this pre-planned destruction
Of any chance for you to be here

How could I explain it
And still say you're loved?
Can you comprehend this or anything?
Before I send you high above?

Would you sing a song of sympathy
For my pathetic excuse for reason
For a betrayal so unsure
In so untimely a season

I'm sorry to suggest it
But there's been a grave mistake
And now a death in the family
I'm so sorry to break

You'll never have a chance
To spread your wings
Or rise and fall
Above it all

I shot you down before you even
Came into this world
Tell me does your heart beat?
Will it ever forgive me?
