poem about feeling like a different person when i am writting
The Poet and Me

He and I are one yet at the same time we are two because he and I can not exists at the same time.

The poet emerges from within me whenever I James Lindsey pick up a pad and a pen and then a transformation begins to take place much like a superhero like batman when Bruce Wayne put on his suit but for me this change takes place when the creative side on my brain takes over allow the creative juices to flow as the poet emerges steppes forward now leaving plain old me buried under my secret identity as James now lays out of site and out of mind because my hand and mind are busy at work creating a master piece for all to see.

The poet remains in control of my mind and body until his task is done I James Lindsey am nothing but a name no longer a person who can be seen our touched until the poet is done with his work only then will he calmly fade away as my creative mind and thoughts go back into hiding allowing the brain to be relax allowing reality and all that is around to be seen & heard once again allowing me James Lindsey to come back to the world as a simply man the poet is gone for now and I am the only one who exist at time point and time until the next creative idea comes along.

Sincerely,
James Lindsey
