written from purgatory
I hear the highway calling
whispering my secret name
If I could fill the gastank with blood
I would take a razorblade and
split open a vein
I climb aboard a beast in flight
to accelerate the thrill of escape
I find freedom on the highway
freedom slaves feel when lightning
breaks their chains
freedom forest fires feel when flames
are set ablaze
freedom windshield wipers feel caught
in infinite rain
I hear the highway calling
whispering my secret name
if I could fill the gastank with blood
I would take a razorblade and
split open a vein
