Life and relationships
My Man

My man walked out the door
Said I was skinny he needed more
Said people think I have a perversion or
homosexual besides your not intellectual

He said internalize your emotions
An implant will trigger the motions
Your family will not be defaced
My gift to you to take mans place

Said he looks to fine
For a hood like mine
Get breast implants
It gives more slants

You can’t even write
Your poems are contrite
When you make some money
I will think about it honey

He called me the other day
Tens years since this way
All he wanted to say
I am glad I did not stay

I still try to gain weight
in hopes to get a date
Each look in the mirror
Says I guess it’s to late
