it's tragic families are broken prematurely.
I saw her standing by the door,
A beautiful child dressed in rags
She looked at me with bright eyes,
But inside them was so much suffering;
Who's child was this of heavenly nature?
So innocent , so pure ; but all alone.
The restaurant looks tempting to her,
And this is just human nature,
Hunger, pain and the cold weather
She braved it all for a chance to live,
No one seems bothered about her presence
All to busy with their sumptous meal.
Sometimes i wonder,if there is a God ?
Who can hear her prayers and her pain.
Then came the waiter , "Excuse me sir!"
"what would you like for dinner?"
I asked the man" who's child was she?"
He returned "She is an orphan, young sir."
All this fueld pain and pitty in my heart
The endless years of human sufferings.
"Anything else sir?" asked the waiter,
"Please give her a meal ." was all i can do
For i was just a stranger, passing through.
On the flight back home i pondered :
The orphan , the world and the cold,
My precious family waiting at home.
