A young girl torn apart by the destruction of her mother...
Im going to tell a story
About a little girl
This story is about me
So welcome to my world...
Lucy was just two
She loved to crawl and play
She was ever so pretty
Until that fatal day.
Her mother was called Alex
Her father was all gone
But strange men loved her mummy
And the work that she had done.
They used to call her "baby"
But im a baby too,
And they didnt pay me money
And into her bed they flew.
I loved the home we shared,
A small, warm and cosy flat
But then the mean man came
And my mummy he did slap.
She flew across the room
And hit her head on the wall
She fell like a ton of bricks
And screaming began to ball...
"Take me and not my baby
She doesnt need the pain"
But the man picked up a knife
And charged at mum again.
I was so confused
I began to cry,
The man he left my mummy,
He soon was at my side.
Mean but dressed so smartly
The blood hung from his shirt
He only said one thing,
"Your mother was filth and dirt".
I crawled across the room,
Smearing blood along the floor,
I reached my wide eyed mummy
The man left and slammed the door.
She was so weak and feable
A cold feeling in my arms
The blood was thick and sticky
I knew she had been harmed.
I lay there with my mummy
For hours it did seem
But the flashing lights did come
My life and not a dream.
