I was heading to a friend's house past some awesome scenery when this one came to me.
The leaves are falling from the trees,
Falling with the gentle autumn breeze.
The colours are so beautiful:
Sunshine yellow,
Blood red,
Pumpkin orange,
Burnished copper,
And still the deep green of summer...
A beautiful autumn rainbow.
The trees stand bare but astute
Against the peacock sky.
The air is getting cooler,
But still there is hope for Indian Summer.
The days are getting shorter,
But the sun is shining brighter.
These are not lazy days,
For winter is on the way;
Soon it will be cold, and get colder,
The ground will harden, and
The snow will fall.
But right now...
The leaves are falling from the trees,
Falling with the gentle autumn breeze.
