This poem is about couples coping, dealing..never any changes, just...LIFE
Destiny...never fullfilled
Love..life..lacking there of.
Feelings torn...yet not be revealed,
Fragments lost..still ignoring the cost.
It is funny, the games people play.
You sit around...drink a beer,
I go out...hang with friends.
We're two changing lifestyles,
But yet we still remain.
I say this...you say that..
You feel this...I feel that..
Saying one thing, but meaning another,
Is this ever going to come together?
Come what spring..come what may,
All we wait for..is one more day.
Maybe tomorrow..maybe today,
Maybe nightfall..pain drift away.
You see it gone...sometimes you wish it gone,
You're walking around on eggshells.
When you turn to say something,
Then you realize..no one's there.
You ignite the fire..you feed the bear..
There's no need to place the blame..
For what you've done, and you'll do again.
But who cares..alone, you cry in despair.
Sometimes all you feel is pressure,
Other times aloofness.
Another day..another mood,
We'll await, yet another change.
Another coat, another hat, another pair of pants..
Anything to keep your mind off the pain,
Anything..to act...'okay'.
