About soldiers lost in Nord Pas de Calais in WWII after visiting Vimy Ridge Memorial.
The perfectly cut grass
No reflection,
Of the years of the Great War
Words are trivial,
For no phrase seems fit
To honour those who died before
They saw the German's fall
No sigh or gasp is deep enough
To properly honour them all
Cast your eyes upon the graves
Laid in rows of ten
There is nothing worth saying,
Worth breaking the silence
Of three thousand fallen men
