A short poem I wrote while sitting by a graveyard.
The Graveyard at Dusk

I watch the sun slowly melt away
As day turns to night
Birds chirp happily,
Flying between the tombstones of a nearby graveyard
Geese honk a strange melody
As if singing to the lost strangers sleeping six feet under
The sun is completely gone from the horizon
And the living join the dead in sleep.
