A short poem I wrote a few years ago after a close friend died.
I'll Miss You


I remember the times you smiled and the times you frowned
But now it hurts me to remember that you’re six feet underground
You’re in a better place now, or at least that’s what people say
I look down at your grave, wishing that you could live just one more day.
