The beginning of my other story.. nothing special but once again, please review!! Thanks!
The young man had just finished his seventh drink when a woman -young lady rather- walked into the bar. Most of the men turned to look at her, as she walked up to the counter. Several whistled and a few made rude gestures and comments to her. Yet she made no sign as if she heard their comments, her face expressionless.
As she sat next to the young man, the bartender came up.
"Well, look who the darkness brought in... haven't seen you in awhile."
"I've been busy.." she responded casually.
         "You want the regular?"
         "Yeah... one drink won't hurt.."
"Hmm... you look different. You alright?" he grabbed a cup and began to mix a drink from different covered bottles from the shelf behind the counter.
         "Hunters.."
"They're after you again?" He asked, giving the liquid-filled glass to her.
After a small-sip she responded. "...mmm.." The bartender looked at her oddly, before walking off to help the other customers.
"What are you staring at?" the woman turned to face the young man at her side. "You have not stopped staring at me since I walked in." She had a pale complexion. Yet, her chestnut eyes, amber lips, and petite face were perfectly shaped. Under her long black-coat she wore skin-tight leather clothes, her shirt small enough to reveal her flat stomach, and yet her round chest. Her pants, also skin tight, fell just short of the floor. Laced black boots covered her feet, and boosting her up a few inches. Around her arms were gloves, elbow-length black, also skin-tight. It seemed she wanted very little of her skin to be seen, and yet the gloves were fingerless... She wore nothing in her shoulder-length ebony hair, yet certain lockes seemed to glitter, almost glass-like. And her only jewelry was a black cord around her neck, which disappeared below her shirt.
"Um... I uh-i'm sorry ma'am.. I didn't mean to stare. It's just I-uh.." the man found himself at a lack-of words as he gazed into her angelic-face.
"Don't stare. It's rude." she stated curtly as she turned back to her drink.
"Who are the hunters?" he asked after a few moments had gone by.
"..why do you continue to make conversation with me?" she returned, her voice dry.
"..." the man seemed at a loss for words.
"They are simply hunters. Bent on the destruction of a certain race."
         "You?"
She downed the rest of her drink and stood up. Placing an amount of gold much more then what that drink was actually worth on the counter, she turned and started toward the door. The men began their comments, and calls about her. One man reached out in attempt to grab her, just as the young man at the counter looked back.
"Come here, i'm sure I can make you stay for a little while longer..." the man near the door coaxed. He stopped as the woman walked past him, and his arm appeared to go straight through her body. Everyone was now staring at her, and only when she walked out of the door did the chatter slowly begin to come back.
The young man at the counter remained silent.. that woman just used some sort of craft! What is she...?
"A lot of people just call her RB... it's the only name she gave us," the bartender said as he walked up again.
         "What is she..?"
         "That.. she never said.."

                †††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††

As the young man strolled the streets of the Itikria slums, his mind keep going back to his conversation with that woman.. how every word she spoke was like an angel's song. How her eyes shown with such.. such.. hm.. well, they shined with something. He just couldn't think of the word.
A loud ethreal scream sounded in the distance. The young man stopped walking, his mind searing in pain. That shriek was.. not human! What if that woman was- gripping his sword, he ran in the direction of the scream.

                            †††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††

"Get away, you demon!" she shouted. Fire had engulfed the man's companion. His other friend had let out an eerie howl, before falling to the ground, his internal organs and blood set afire. Yet this man continued to go after her.. as if he could harm her. She had already taken two down, and all she had was a deep cut that ran down her side.
"I'll get you, if it's the last thing I do, beast." The man's eyes were blazing with anger.
"You really shouldn't talk to a lady like that." The young man had managed to find their battle easily... and he now stood behind the man that was RB's opponent.
"This beast is far from any human lady. This beast has killed countless human ladies.. and children too! This beast needs to be disposed of.." the killer made a move toward RB but the young man moved faster, and in seconds the killer lay on the ground, a hole in his back. The young man sighed over his sword, now he would have to clean it...
"Just because I talked to you, doesn't mean you have to stalk me around." RB growled.
"Yeah.. I guess you had everything under control hunh?"
"Indeed, I never needed you help."
"...but your wounded." he walked up to her and eying the large gash in her side.
"I'm fine.." she replied, but even as she did the world began to swim, and her knees buckled. The man caught her before she fell...
"Do you know where Ahsinti is?" she asked, her voice barely audible.
         "Yeah..."
"There is a castle there... take me to-.." her head fell as she fainted against him.

          †††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††

"Mmm...." the young man moved about the room. Unaware that his new charge was begining to awaken.
She rubbed at her eyes as she sat up, and moved so that her legs dangled from the side of the bed. He turned to face her and they locked eyes. Her brown with his crimson. A faint smile played at his lips.
"What is so important here, that you would request to come here?" he asked.
"This is.. a castle i'm very acquainted with. We should be safe here.."
"Safe from who?... what?" he added almost as an afterthought.
"Doesn't concern you," she replied. "What is your name?"
"Doesn't concern you." he tried to return her stare, but found himself turning his head...
"Xenin, hunh?" she grinned at his shock.
         "Your.. a telepath.."
"I'm many things which need not be said." The young man looked to her again, his eyes gazing deep into the woman's own.
"... Am I your prisoner now? Or am I free to go?"
"Hmm... good question. I'd say you were free to go, but there are some things that need to be said first. For starters I need your word that you will not tell anyone about this castle, or about your meeting with me."
"Of course..." She grinned and gave a simple shrug.
"Your free to go then. But do not think that this is the last time we will meet."
"I couldn't be that lucky, huh?" he smiled cutely at his joke.
"Mmm... until we meet again, Xenin."
