Letter from the editor

Over the next few of my newsletter issues I will highlight some groups and forums which you can turn to for support. There are a myriad of resources available right here on this site, and I'm sure there's at least one for every person.

The groups and forums range from those with specific backgrounds to those for people with common goals. They range from social interaction and fun to serious writing goals. Some are for inspiration, others for emotional support, and yet more to enable your generosity to reach those in need. There are forums for certain age groups, or portfolio case colour; and let's not forget the site competitions. *Bigsmile*

To browse the groups available, click on the "Groups" link at the top of the page (top of the third column of small type). Forums are listed in the first column. Want to search for a specific topic? Use the Power Search feature to look up keywords and set "Any Type" to either "Forums" or "Groups".

If you have a:
         * specific group in mind and have no success in finding one, or
         * suggestion for a type of support group that may be missing
send me an email (to Puditat ) or via the feedback form for this newsletter.

I'll start by introducing a few of my favourites:

For those writers who are serious about working towards being published.

Good job on the newsletter. THis is the first one I go to usually as I love to review newbie work, probably because "I are one." Thanks for the great service you perform. Has to be a very demanding job. I appreciate it.

For 5000 gps (all goes to RAOK), we put a link to an item under the Reading List where the item will stay for a month and will be R/R'ed by several volunteer readers. For those who lack the gps, we have gratis placement available, due to donations. E-mail me or post a request in the forum.

An awesome opportunity for some exposure and reviews. *Bigsmile* Thanks Popcorn Joy.
