It is truly a fantastic short story. There is no doubt about it. It is a story of several dimensions. But, the suspense remains as it is all through. Even when the story becomes a bit descriptive, the suspense remains the same. That is a characteristic of an efficient writer which helps to gather a fantastic readability.
At the beginning of the story, it is going to be a dark story. But, with time situation changes dramatically. It becomes a sad story.
Love has a lovely power that cannot be forgotten so easily. Here we saw the reflection of the same truth. A boy died. His mother loved him so much. So he did not want to leave his mother. How tragic a situation it was! The writer draws those painful scenes competently. That makes our hearts mournful. The story ends but that sadness remains attic in the reader's hearts. That is a classic example of writing a short story.
Overall this is a brilliant performance. I hope that your creative mind will entertain us in future, too.
Keep writing.
