It is an ideal short story if we ignore the first stanza. In a short story, we begin with the main purpose straightway. This is the prime condition of this type of writing effort.
Other conditions are perfectly fulfilled. In a short story, the number of characters is minimum in numbers. In the story, we find only three characters.
The story sends us a very vital message. When we remain alive, we have many sufferings. Even, when we die, we face endless problems. That is so great Tagore told us death is nothing but entering another room of a house.
The pace remains always smooth. This is another condition of an ideal short story. The story follows the rule as it is.
At the end of an ideal short story, we can build another story in our minds. Does this story not give us the same opportunity? I reckon so.
You come with a lot of promises. So, go ahead. A bright future is waiting for you.
