It is another thoughtful poem by the poet. How can we conquer demons from the past? This free verse poem tells us about that.
Our past experiences, especially brutal fears, do not want to leave us smoothly. We have to go on with those frightening moments. We carry the trauma all through life. We are habituated to bear those anxieties. It is indeed hard to forget those dark pasts, but there is no way to but by compromising.
It is genuinely excellent poetry.
