Wow! What brilliant free-verse poetry it is! That poem tells us about altercating life. We, the people of the material world, often choose the wrong way for more profit due to our greediness. When we realize that the road is not for us, many times already passed away. It is not easy to come back again in your original track. The person has to heavily. It is better for that person, too, and will remain careful not to commit any further mistakes.
The narrator intimates to us the comeback is very much tough but not an impossible one. So, if you feel regret, try wholeheartedly. God helps honest triers.
The poet identifies a burning issue of today. We will remain grateful to the poet.
