Wow! What an artistic story it is! What is the secret of a victorious story? It should be an interesting one. The story follows the same.
The narrator of the story is a painter who paints well. She has a good relationship with her husband. One morning, the teller draws a picture of a riverside area surrounded by mountains. The place is entirely imaginary. But, her husband, Michel, intimates that the site is known to him. She also visits there as per her husband's direction.
Where there is love, there is fear of loss that is the cause of rising suspicion. That truth is established here once again. It creates suspense. I will not disclose it for the sake of the story.
Another thing makes the story a bit special. A concept of re-birth is here. So, Michel gives the narrator a picture of ninety years earlier as her birthday gift. Remember, the teller is a young lady.
Overall, the writing is superb. The suspense remains intact all through. It gives fantastic readability. I hope you will entertain us in future endlessly.
