It is indeed a solid story. But I do not think it is a perfect science-fiction story. The tale is neither a fantasy nor a war-related story. Then what does the story wants to say? How can humanity encounter an alien race? Spreading this awareness among us is the prime objective of the tale. The writer performs that beautifully. Write on!
