It is a common scenario of warfare but full of tremendous excitement. He loved his nation. So he did not try to escape and attacked the enemy. His pet dog Hell also well-trained. His inclusion gave the story a separate dimension. Hell's role was indeed very vital.
The writer drew a lovely portrayal of nature. It might be the Winter season. Another thing should be noted. The hunter is a real devotee. We understood this in the ultimate scene when he dedicated his success to the Supreme Lord.
It is a fantastic beginning. Go ahead.
