It is a real short story. It is full of suspense and mystery. The narrator suddenly meets a man. He has some supernatural abilities. That makes him different from others. He gradually starts to influence the teller. But those experiences are dark. So, the narrator cannot be happy as he does not like those.
We have the opportunity to gather any incident at any moment. We should build a filter on the mind that will determine whether the experience is forgettable or rememberable.
It is excellent writing. Write on!
