It is a lovely little prose. Despite some bitter personal family experiences in the old house on Chestnut Street, the narrator feels the same attraction about that already sold house. After selling that house, he senses lonely about that house. But, before dealing with it, he can not realize those. Honestly, we all have a soft corner about our roots. We understand that fact not heretofore it goes away from our reach.
It is excellent psychological prose. I hope your creative soul will entertain us endlessly.
