It is a much bigger rhyme. Though it is mainly written for children, it can be considered a learning curve for everybody. We often do some works which we should not do. But, we do those deeds even after knowing how much danger is involved in the affair. Sometimes, we have to pay for that heavily. Even we reach the point of no return like the child. We are adults, not a child. But, sometimes, we act the same that a child generally does. It is truly unforgivable. That bitter reality is indicated here.
The imagery of the poem is good. It is fantastic to read the dramatic situation, though the heart becomes sad a bit. Therefore, the readability is excellent.
It is a striking poem that forces us to think automatically when we start reading.
A very bright future is awaiting you. So, keep on your motivation.
Enjoy your literary moments.
