What Does THiNG think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* I have a hound dog who is getting up there in years so this was sad and hopeful for me at the same time. I hope she does come back to haunt me like this. Some dogs never lose that playful side of their nature. Mine is still a pup in a lot of ways even at the age of 10.

I liked your rhyme and the way your poem flowed as it seemed very natural to me.

What does THiNG applaud about while reading your item?

You did a fine job with the prompt - this was my favorite part:

'"Play?" he woofed into my face
a ball dropped on the ground
I snatched it up and let it fly
for that old ghost hound."'

Very nicely done!

I am not an expert on poetry or prose. I am merely a reader who loves to read. I am not a proofreader and would rather do most anything else rather than proof read. That is what proofreaders get paid to do. I don't dissect poetry much anymore. I mostly look for a phrase or stanza that moves me or surprises me.
