You visited me during a recent review raid, so here I am sweeping into your port for a visit of my own. Greetings!

What Does THiNG think about while perusing your item?

I think you write of something we all must face and that is death. It is the universal experience that all must go through, yet it is the most feared happening in life.

You explore this fear and the courage to face up to whatever comes very well in this poem that becomes a dialogue with death.

What does THiNG applaud about while reading your item?

This was my favorite part:


"I felt a hand touch my back
The fear I felt I did not lack
You spoke from the dark, “Don’t fear me
I’ve come to help you don’t you see”"

It is hard to believe that death comes to help, but in a lot of cases I think that is true. It ends up being true sometimes when you look at things from a long range perspective.

Very thought provoking poem - I enjoyed reading it very much!
