She was so loved and he was so devoted. You paint an amazing picture of their love as a couple. It also reflects your love as her son, for you so fondly put the words together that brought her to life in my mind. The crooked smile trying to turn upward, was so precious, for the readers will understand how joyful she was and those who loved her knew her heart was smiling in a huge way.

The continuation of planting the flowers she so admired, upon her grave is so special. We siblings, place flowers on our parents' grave each Memorial Day Weekend. She will be dead three years one month from today, and my heart still aches, terribly.
