Hello Paul D

This is a fun poem about a seemingly endless winter. I love the humour at the end. The framing device of a conversation between an owl and a wolf is interesting and I love the photo you put with the poem. It can be hard to create a good villanelle as the repeating lines in this form have to be strong enough to bear the repetition. You do a great job here though.
