I want to welcome you to WDC. I hope you enjoy your stay here. These are some of the nicest people I have found in my quest to get published.

General Impressions I like your short take on life. Especially how short it can be. It did bring back some of times I used to play catch with my boys. I got stuck doing four or five of them at a time. That is the joy of raising a large family.

Favorite Parts I hurried home to play catch with my own son. I was glad that dad got the real message of the glove. It's to bad most of us let earning a living and socializing get in the way of the love of our children.

Plot You know a judge of a contest on one of my entries gave me one of the pieces of advice that I follow to this day. I feel the need to share it with you. A lot of people when looking at the title, the description and story will tell if the plot is correct. The second part is the description. This is our time to shine. It should besides the title be the hook that grabs us into your story. And being a newbie I had put a work in progress I'll update it before the contest end lol oops. I want to save you the embarrassment I had.

Characters For a short piece you did a very good job some people would want a bit more but honestly they were fine you gave us enough to visualize our own and you gave us enough to advance the story to the ending and give us the point you want us to see or learn from the story.

Setting You did very well on the settings they advanced the plot forward and didn't give us too much detail.

Dialog You used it well to advance the story and give use the plot hook you wanted to share with us.

Please remember that you are best judge of what is right for your story Whatever another person says -- especially me -- whether positive or negative, is just their opinion You are the only one who can decide what is right for your story.
