It's sunny and contented, and your descriptions of nature are so...natural. :-[ At the same time you entwine words of love and companionship into the lines, painting the colours of the world. Friendship is what life is about. Words like "sunbeam", "emerald", "tropical", "fusion" and "auburn" create a beautiful atmosphere. I can see you have chosen your words carefully, and I love how you have melted them altogether into a river of prose. The free form suits the poem and although you have your toe on the line with 38 lines ![]() I have only one small suggestion: I confess is the same as hope. ![]() My favourite lines are: Dancing on the edge Of my aching chest. and When twilight prevails, Deep fusion of... My favourite stanza is the last, with Come, O' beloved! Let me show you The colors of the world. Those lines give me the (good) shivers. ![]() The closing lines bring the poem to a satisfying end, with warmth, peace and hope. The reader is left with these emotions settled in the heart.
