In every school in the history of schools there have been cliques. In high school, there might be the jocks, the nerds, the intellectuals, the a/v nerds, the fashionable, and the hippies. In college it’s no different – you have the student council, the various sports guys, and the emo-tellectuals. For Brandon, his friends were pretty much picked from the start. He had a full ride to State courtesy of his ability to throw his two-hundred and thirty-five pound bulk around at 4.3 speed. That meant that his friends would be sharing the showers, dorm rooms, and practice field with him.

What the brown-eyed, brown-haired, 6’3” stud didn’t know is that maybe if he had paid a little more attention to the other cliques, maybe he’d still be in football. Maybe he would have graduated. Maybe he even would have had a future . . . .
