"A Problem Page For All!"

Right, not a problem as such but i could do with some advice!
It's a relationships issue so look away now if you hate those and email me to tell me to shut up if you like!
On Friday night myself, my two besy friends from work (who are both gay, but not a couple!) and one of our straight male colleagues went out to a gay nightclub. After we all got the cab back to my house because my friends live just around the corner and our colleague was going to call his mum to get a lift home from my house to save on taxi fares because he lives quite a long way out of town! So understandably he was at my house waiting for his lift. The next day we arrived at work at the same time coincidently, only to find that one of my friends who was on an earlier shift than us had told everyone at work that the guy had been at my house when he left, and from that they have all assumed that we have slept together!
To make things easier and try and make light of the situation the two of us, whilst denying anything happened, were just teasing everyone by play flirting!
There's just one small problem, I actually really like the guy! And now I don't know whether to do anything about it cos if this is how they behave when nothing happened I can't imagine how bad it would be if we really did get together!
Please! Anyone got any advice for me? What should I do?!!!!!
