As a note: the Libra (as in, the compilation penned by von Gersdorff) exists relatively recently - about 400 years old. The spells, however, were not necessarily devised by von G, so examples of masks being used can happen, but just as well it can be something else. What von G did was codify his thesis about the metaphysical elements of reality (imago, substantia, essentia and anima in a single book.

The last chapters I posted in "The Wandering Stars" are essentially stories of the Stellae (or adepts that were to be reclaimed, in the case of sir Bertrand) on different time periods. I intentionally set the branch so that anyone can contribute, since I found it fun to see the history of the Stellae unfold. I have an idea for one such tale based on a famous song from a Spanish pop band (which has been covered in different languages) about a gypsy woman pleading to the Moon to help her be with her beloved, and the tragedy that ensues.

But right now, I'm between writing my own stuff, experiencing GTA III for the first time, and cursing Archael for making a hard-as-all-hell FFT mod. The fact that I've managed to reach Chapter 4 in that mod shows the dedication, but some fights are downright unfair.
