Maybe there's an ancient diamond in danger of being in the wrong hands (Villian: Cassio the wizard with an evil intention on using the ancient diamond to steal souls and raise undead) and have to save the towns from losing their souls to Cassio. Take an adventure to, you name it, Washington DC and find Cassio and retrieve the ancient diamond back to Washington state in the rightful hands of the mermaids. The dragons and their companions are the real heroes of course. Something inspiring like this. Though diamonds are worth a lot as is.
