Let your story come to you, just take a break from everything (if you can) and take a walk or run or draw or clean or stare out a window drinking your favorite drink and let your mind wander. Basically, meditate in any way your body enjoys meditating. I tend to get ideas in the shower because it's such a physical experience that my mind is freed up to do its own thing without my thoughts getting in its way. The biggest thing is not to worry. Smile and know you're a writer. If you weren't, you'd be cool and confident right now.
