Ahh, I am reading a pretty good book by Celeste Ng. "Everything I Never Told You" has the conflict early in the story. Then proceeds to backtrack and explain lives and motives. So far, I have no idea the whys and hows. She has me hooked.

And all the characters are having an Extremely hard time dealing with the conflict. That's all I'll say.

Celeste Ng is also the author of 'Little Fires Everywhere', a book I adored.
