BoM/TWS Message Forum

I've never written anything for BoM, and probably never will(crazier things have happened though), but I like answering questions, so I'll answer this anyway.

I actually don't read much in the way of books anymore. Most of the books I do read are alternate history books by Harry Turtledove, who is my favorite author. Other than that, I tend to read a lot of fanfiction, and I enjoy trawling the forums at alternatehistory.com every once and a while.

I've actually been reading an A Song of Ice and Fire/D&D crossover quest over on Sufficient Velocity over the past year called A Sword Without a Hilt. I started reading it over a year ago and still haven't managed to work my way through all the updates and the massive number of discussion and voting posts between them, although to be fair, finding BoM did not help me keep focused on that story. It also doesn't help that the author of that story seems to be a masochist who actually apologizes if he doesn't get out at least 2 or 3 updates a day, which by means beyond my comprehension, he's been able to do pretty consistently for the past 4 years.
