Love this! Mine 8 yr old was "Scottie". He is now a special task force "cop" and the father of 4. No one calls him Scottie anymore. His oldest, Trinity, is coming to live with me next week to go to college. I'm very excited about that. But I cherish the memories of that little guy who walked with me, his hand in mine. Thanks for this lovely poem.
