Well, you did say SB characters were added.

David Johnson

I guess it's because of how he reacts to the whole ordeal. Sure, he has a lot of similarities to Will, but the whole transformation thing is completely unavoidable in SB, where BoM, Will can avoid the BoM if you chose to do so. But I really love his mindset of wanting to be a person again (usually through any means necessary) in most of the chapters.

Sarah Pak / Sean Mitchell

Yup, another SB character, but tied with a BoM character. I liked Sarah the most in the storyline where she was David's partner since she was also transformed. Same idea with Sean, where Will shows in the BoM and works as his partner.

Another thing I liked was how the characters react to the main character the further they progressed. Sarah growing distant to David the further they explored their abilities. Sean being like Will's 'older brother' was great, they had fun being each other until someone else got involved with the BoM.

Danny Russo / Andrew Gray

Does Danny count as an obscure character? Anyway, I just love his eccentric / goofball nature, plus there seems to be a lot about Danny when Will wore his mask or about his childhood with Noah.

Andrew's interaction with the BoM is basically a science miracle story. The guy can walk again, and of course, he wants to keep it that way. Sure, there isn't a whole lot of chapters with him being in it, but it's interesting to see where he'll go from there.
