I think it's really toxic to be around someone who's negative all the time. I can even recognize that in myself sometimes when I get in a bad place for a while. It's hard on the people around me.
You need a supportive environment to foster good mental health, so it makes me really sad to hear that you don't have it when you so deserve it.
