Writing a fight scene?
by Jewell
So, I have a question for anyone who can answer.

I'm writing a fight scene and I'm not sure how to break up the paragraphs. I know I need to make a new paragraph when a character speaks, but what about when there's just action? It's a blur of fighting that involves going back and forth a little bit. I can probably put that in big chunks, right? I mean, as long as it flows well and isn't a gigantic block of text, that seems okay?

I usually shy away from fighting, because I never know how to break it up. That's something that has held me back a lot.
