October Novel Prep Challenge

Definitions needed for my NaNo novel revolve around "conversion centers" what they did there, how they did it and how many were shut down and the staff charged with horrible abuses.

I also need to explore mental health issues such as PTSD a, Depression, Personality Disorders, and gain a strong understanding of psychopaths/sociopaths. How these issues will force characters to act etc.

A look at parenting and school in the 80's after AIDS was discovered. What was it like for gay teenagers during this time.
