The Steampunk Boiler Room

By way of incentive to return home to the Boiler Room I am posting a challenge in the forum and will include it here in this e-mail.

DEADLINE: Noon Saturday March 8, 2014 WdC time.
PRIZES: First place -- 5000 GPs
Second place -- 2500 GPs
Third place -- 1250 GPs

Prizes will be awarded by Monday, March 10, 2014 at noon WdC time.

CHALLENGE: Post a link to a newly written Steampunk story of not more than 1500 words in the forum. Please proof read your work as we do want to put our best foot forward. If I am truly impressed with your work I may award Awardicons or Merit Badges at random.
